Chintan Pandya is an actor, writer, director and teacher. He holds a Master’s Degree in Arts, Design and Communication with Theatre Major from the prestigious CEPT University and has received special training from the Royal Shakespeare Company and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama – University of London with the support of the British Council.

Writer and lead actor (incarnating 18 characters on the stage) of the biggest Bollywood musical Bharati 2, he has earned his fame making it one of the top five shows in the world, receiving more than 3 million spectators and touring across four continents in more than 20 countries.
He has performed in 5 languages in 21 countries across 4 continents.
He has directed plays in Gujarati, Hindi, English and French. The genres of his plays vary from classical to contemporary, from absurd to musicals, from devised to Vaudeville. He is regularly invited to Europe (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Luxembourg), Canada and Africa (Mauritius, Reunion Island, Senegal, Egypt, Tunisia) for performances or workshops. He was also invited by the British Council to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of the offcial Indian delegation in 2015.
Chintan teaches theatre at the Gujarat University for the Masters in Performing Arts and at the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University for the interdisciplinary learning program. He is the founder of the TransIndus Foundation and Fanatika – an international theatre company based in Ahmedabad, India
