Our online courses bring the classroom to you. Once you sign up for a course, you experience weekly/fortnightly lessons, carefully selected readings, valuable instructor feedback and a world of inspiration to get you started on your writing journey.

Our online platform is extremely easy to use and requires no special computer skills. Online courses have a very flexible schedule, so you can login and learn at your convenience.

Our courses are of 4-6 modules, with one module delivered each week/fortnight. Each module requires an investment of one to one-and-a-half hours. You can access/view the modules at your convenience during the entire week/fortnight. Each course has its own set of writing assignments, which you will submit as per the course schedule. You will receive in-depth personalized feedback on your writing assignment from your instructor.

All participants receive a certificate at the end of each course fully completed.

Start with Short Stories

A beginner’s guide to writing short stories by Vishwesh Desai

Vishwesh Desai, winner of the Rana Kapoor Award for Young Talent in Literature, teaches the fundamentals of writing short fiction: how to plan plotlines, craft characters, and shape settings.

The course is intended for those passionate about writing or writers looking to take their work to the next level. Over five weeks of lessons, in-depth analysis of acclaimed works, and assignments, you will learn how to write short stories and receive personalized feedback on your work from Vishwesh.

By the end of the course you will:

  • Be familiar with the basic elements of a story
